What things do you like to do to fill your time?










Me, I'm taking up walking at dawn (again - for real this time), going to take up photography (still searching for a good camera), dancing, shooting pool (if I can find a good location), writing. These are things I'm going to do around my other important things in life. It's nice to keep busy getting out of the house and finding time to take care of important things in life too, oh and I find the time to spend with my brothers and sisters too, they help with taking things off your mind. Helping others helps you forget your own problems as well.

I recently started running and biking in the morning. I'm trying to learn to be good at darts and basketball so I can play with or challenge my husband.

Reading (books, comic books, internet).
Writing (for myself and a few things that might see the light of day soon).
Getting into photography a little bit now that I've actually got a camera.
When the weather is nice, I walk. A lot. Anywhere and everywhere. I'm looking forward to my time in Puerto Rico and Hawaii again if for no other reason that I can start walking again.
Lots of partying and sex, but I'm starting to back off all that a little.
I'm going to start taking biology/genetics classes to help me catch up in some areas at my job.
Absorbing as much cinema as I possibly can. It's my favorite form of art/entertainment, and I didn't watch a movie in over a year. I'm easing back into it lately.

There are a lot of them that I've let fall by the wayside, just because they're huge wastes of time and money or only served as distractions from wallowing in misery (CD projects, collecting comics - even though I still read them, constant Internet usage, TV, etc.).

Reading, but usually academic stuff, so it is borderline work.
Drinking to excess.

I started reading crime thrillers, it's what old ladies do!

I'm learning to sew
Golf (yes , I'm secretly an old man)

Internet
Reading
Writing
Learning IT related stuff (VB.net, Java, ect.)


But I've promised myself to minimize the above and spend much more time painting.

Michael and I love to camp - we go at least 4 times a yr if not more

I have been spending more time with my horses - SO NICE !!

I still do vol work at the local shelter

daydream/research travel - now that all our children are older Michal and I plan to do even more of that

I don't do TV much - unless I am veggin out at a friends or something

I make soaps - oils- lotions- shampoo - candles

and Michael and I love to cook / bake together

- Scrabble. I am the freakin champ!!!!!

- Writing songs and making music with my little brother. Fun as hell

- Baking cakes. My fave...german chocolate

Lately I watch a lot of tv on dvd. Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, That Girl and Pee Wee’s Playhouse are the ones I’ve gone through (and are still going through) the last few months. I joined Netflix again after a couple year hiatus. I’m watching a lot of documentaries online through that as well.

I read a lot. Every single day.

I’m back on a live show kick again. I’ve been to several since August. And hope to continue the trend if the right bands/artists keep coming to town.

Travel. I get sad when I don’t have a trip to look forward to, even if it’s just a small weekend getaway.

I’ve been cooking and baking more the last few months as well. With yummy results. Food is totally a hobby for me, whether cooking or going out for it. I positively love good food.

I also help moderate an independent prince fan website.

THAT'S a tough one... I prefer Chowder because of all the renamed foods, I'm a foodie, and the way they fill the colors for the animation (brilliant technique!) and because Schnitzel holds a special place in my heart (RADAAAA!)
