God- and Lammastide-willing, I'm most hoping to:

1. Graduate
2. Initiate the dual citizenship process
3. become faithful to some exercise regiment
4. pay off some bad debt
5. Attach myself to at least one charitable organization

2008 has been so far a good year for me.

I moved to Chicago
I made tons friends
I changed my educational field completely (to Art yaya!)
I fell in love with my bf
I came out to my family
I got pierced and Im getting a kick ass tattoo in a couple of days
I feel better about my life than ever

In 2009 I'm hoping to:

Get into a graduate program in studio art or design
Move to the US for good
Find a new, nicer apartment
Resolve my financial problems connected with limitations of my visa
Defend my MA thesis in Poland during the summer and then go back to the US

I am very anxious though, cuz a lot depends on factors that are beyond me.
Getting a good visa is hhaaaaarddd sad

nod

It is not much easier if you are married. All of the ppl that lie and sneak into the country ruin it for the rest of us.
Best wishes!

Congrats on a good 2008. I wish you the best in '09. You seems to have a decent enough attitude about what challenges will come. You'll be fine.

To continue doing well in school

To work out more, and get healthy

To keep busy why my Sweetie is at bootcamp and officer training for 6 months

To finally learn to drive on the interstate without having a panic attack

Start paying attention to the things I push aside when it comes to "me"

Get some shit paid off.

Do some small cosmetic things to my house.

Get a new hobby. Maybe something that is not quite so expensive as my current ones, shopping and scrapbooking.

And mostly to be more positive. I can feel other people's negativity rubbing off on me and I don't like it.

I would say lose weight but at this point, it just goes without saying. It's always been a goal, it will always be a goal. It should just be assumed.

I've tried unsuccessfully to leave the Org at least 3 times. Yet, I'm woefully closer to doing it than to getting married.
