Well i'm just beside my independent diva self because i've done the impossible - i've found a job at a time where it is extremely difficult to find a job during these rough economic times. And I did this with my current job ending in March, so i'm estatic!!!! I start my new job in the new year.

I'm planning a cruise for myself and a couple of friends to go on in May. I'm leaning towards Royal Carribean because when I went with my parents about 8 years ago, that is the cruise line we went on and it was very fun, but I do have some family members who feel that Carnival was more "adult" oriented and that Royal Carribean was more "family" oriented. I thought that they were backwards, but being that I don't know too much about the Carnival line, I thought to ask you orgers your opinion.

Carnival or Royal Carribean?

They told you right Miss Fee. Carnival is for grown folks. I watch all the cruise lines pass me at work and Carnival leaves out of the Los Angeles Port making a bunch of noise! LOL Not to mention that the passengers like to flash us at they go by. Plus, I am told the food is better on Royal. Hope this helps. Congrats on your new job!!

I dunno if I'll ever go on a cruise. But all I can say is just make sure it's not a bunch of senior citizens

Royal Carribean...

we went on Carnival and it was a party every night, the royal carribean ship was right behind us so we met up with them in every port we talked to people who said they usually went Carnival but wanted to try RC this time and said that RC was boring and they would definitely go carnival next time.

There's so much to do. You're NEVER bored, and if all else fails, you can hang out at one of the unbelievable pools.

Trust me - cruises are GREAT.

I've only been on Carnival cruises, but I do highly recommend them. They did seem pretty family-oriented - I didn't see a lot of singles on either cruise.

Hey, here's another great thing about cruises. If you take your kids, you don't need a babysitter! Because, where can they go?

we went on a five day one but in february so many parents would not take the kids out of school, there were some kids but we didn't see them often only when camp carnival paraded them around the ship.

I really want to go again, maybe in 2011 or 12 before the youngest goes to college and takes all my money
