I own a Sprint PCS cellphone.


It's a LG Rumor




I can safely say I really kind of hate this thing.
I love the fold out keyboard as I can text really quickly much like using a natural keyboard, but all other features, I'm not thrilled about.


First,
The main keys are a bit tiny.

Second,
It has very poor memory. I can't open up half the threads on prince.org without getting an "insufficient memory" error.

Third,
The resolution on the screen is a bit lacking.


Is there a phone in the style of the Rumor that is a bit more powerful? Has a nicer screen?

AND doesn't cost a fortune?

I ruled iPhone out for right now as I don't want to swap from Sprint to AT&T, and I don't want use a device that doesn't support Java or Flash. Other than that, I cream for the iPhone.

I think I'm going to go with the Samsung Rant. It's similar to the LG Rumor, but has a nice screen, the camera is a bit better, and all the annoying LG Rumor quirks are weeded out on the Rant.

Plus it's only 50 bucks with the contract.

I just don't want to spend 300-400 bucks right now. I'm holing out hope that Apple will get their heads out of their asses and support java and flash for their iPhone.

Get over it and get an iPhone. When Steve thinks you need Flash, you'll have Flash. Until then, you don't. It's really much simpler this way.
