uh-oh iPhone

Meet Elizabeth Frisinger: She lost her virginity and accidentally texted her dad

"Meet Elizabeth (Lizzy) Frisinger 18, isn’t she precious? She is also mind blowingly stupid. Elizabeth, a Senior in Cleveland went on a class trip where she lost her virginity on the beach. Apparently it was “gr8″.

We know this because young Lizzy was so excited about her conquest she texted her friend, except it wasn’t her friend, she had accidentally texted her dad. Class trip finished. Cue a slap to the forehead and wide spread humiliation on the interwebs.

Since then, a pic of Elizabeth’s iphone (above) has been doing the rounds of the interwebs, and a classmate of hers (according to TheChive) leaked her senior year picture to a Cleveland Radio Station to complete the story.

Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame Lizzy, we are sure this will help you win friends at Syracuse, where she has early acceptance. As yet no name or photos have appeared of the lucky boy man."

According to Boing-Boing:
Don't use an iPhone to send your Dad a text message after you make love for the first time
POSTED BY JOHN BROWNLEE, DECEMBER 10, 2008 10:17 AM
"This has all the hallmarks of a fake to me, but it's so easy to imagine it happening — I manage to accidentally send text messages to the wrong people on my iPhone all the time — that I'm posting anyway: according to the Inquisitr, 18 year old Elizabeth Frisinger accidentally texted her dad instead of a friend with a short txtspk account of the loss of her virginity. Summary: it was gr8, Dad! Wish you were here! Her father was stoically unamused, demanding her immediate return on the next plane.
It's doubtlessly fake, but still, it's plausible. I think the iPhone is so easy to send text messages to people because it stores them like iChat conversations: you open the SMS app and are presented with your last "conversation." It's hard to get over the training of other phone's SMS systems to just start enterting text as soon as you open the app, though: I find myself assuming that after I enter my message and hit "Send," I'll then be asked what contact to send it to. It's merely an issue of retraining — the iPhone's system makes just as much sense as the other — but I've been finding it a big difficult to get over years of interface indoctrination."

This is probably fake.
Not only do I refuse to believe there are people as stupid as this, but who would make pics of the phone?

Yeah I think if daughter had texted even accidentally Poppa wouldn't have responded via text message. Or if he had I think he would have had a much different message to send his lil girl.

yes, but read what boing boing have got to say - it's easy enough to make the mistake of accidentally texting last person you texted

Having an iPhone myself, I can say that you will have to be incredibly stupid to send a text message mistakenly to the wrong person.....but Herman is right, this probably fake. If not, then daddy needs to shut the fuck up.....the girl is 18 and can get laid with whoever, and whenever she wants.....

If my mom could learn how to get hooked on Tetris on the Gameboy at 58, you surely can learn how to operate phones. You just have to do it more often and not whimp out and just DO it.

And OMG, did YOU send a wrong text to Ocean? Like one meant for the master going like "I am cuffed to the bed awaiting your arrival..." ????

Well?

I had a little hand held tetris on a flight to europe once, it was great, did away with time in neat 45 minute blocks without me noticing. My mum and I tried drinking and taking sleeping tablets, which didn't work mad and her seat didn't recline, so we put the prawns from our prawn cocktails into the hole where her recline button should have been falloff and then laughed the rest of the way to Vienna (flying Lauda) omg. good times I heart my mum

the new iPhone (3G) can not be unlocked, so it is of no use to buy one in Thailand.....and I don't want to have a T-Mobile subscription.....it sucks, because I do want the 3G! neutral

I don't think you can buy them without a subscription, not even in Thailand.....I had a friend checking it out while he was in Bangkok.

They are not that expensive anymore, if you get the right package..... Over here you can get them only with T-Mobile as your provider, which I seriously dislike. Also, my cell-phone use is being paid for by the company I work for, and we don't want to switch to T-Mobile.

I wouldn't know. I pay $5 per quarter with pre-paid boxed anything more than that I think is expensive!
