I have read the books and seen the movie. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked most of the movie. Can't wait for the sequels.

Saw it last night, it was good. Not amazing, not horrible, just enjoyable. The lead actress needs acting lessons but may improve as the films go on. The lead actor is great, perfect for the role and lovely to look at biggrin

The movie skimmed over their relationship a little TOO much (my mum, who hasn't read the book had trouble understanding how they got to "true love" so quickly, I had to explain that it goes into WAY more detail in the book) but the parts they showed were nice and the two do have great chemistry.

I really liked the secondary characters, Mike was great and Jessica & Angela were casted well. The Cullen family was adorable and it was quite refreshing seeing such a close knit family for once.

Looking forward to the next film, the book didn't hold my interest much but I'll probably still read the other books so I don't miss details.

I have the book but haven't read it. I heard the movie scenes were kinda fake looking, but they say the book is better. I've always loved Vampires so maybe i'll check it out when it goes to vids.

IMO, the special effects were fantastic, a highlight of the film.

I saw the movie before reading the books, and I still think the movie was great. They did leave out some parts..but that is no different then any other book turned to movie. I am looking forward to the next movie...hell...that 2nd book had me bawling!
