Latest favorite word: Juxtapose

Latest word to make me completely cringe: Essentially

In academic writing and speaking "essentially" has got to be the most overused word I know.

here's a combination of words I take issue with: "bad mother"

it's one I hear bandied around pretty flippantly all over the media, but is REALLY judgemental.

Oh my gawd, my boyfriend uses it incorrectly constantly, it drives me batshit insane.

Ramekin, my wife just throws this word out, never heard it in my life. Had to look it up, she really annoys me doing this shit.
