Org Bakers--share your coffee cake recipes I am going to brunch at a friend's next weekend and am contemplating baking coffee cake, but I am not really feeling the recipe I found in my Betty Crocker cookbook, or even on epicurious.com.
Does anyone have a good recipe? I don't want one that uses sour cream () or requires too many fancy ingredients. I would prefer to do a 'classic', cinnamon, blueberry, or apple coffee cake. (And I only have a 9x13x2 baking dish, so please no recipes that require bundt pans, angel food cake pans, etc.) Thanks!

Here is a recipe that I just found online:
EASY CINNAMON COFFEE CAKE 2 1/2 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 3/4 c. cooking oil Blend above well and set aside 1 cup mix for topping. 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk + 1 tbsp. vinegar Add to above and mix well. Pour in greased and floured pan. Pour topping on (spread out). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I've never tried making this recipe myself, but if you do decide to use it, let me know how it turns out. [Edited 12/8/08 17:22pm] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
