I love this movie heart
and blu-ray is high definition DVD, you need a true HD TV to see any difference
and there is a couple of bucks difference when you go to hire it at the video shop mad and there aren't so many movies to choose from yet neutral

i dont see how anyone can bare to watch anything more than three times in a life time, unless its been years between viewings,

I've seen Purple Rain over 40 times and The Matrix is closing in.
Watching a good movie repeatedly is great!

well stations cycling the same shows/movie for an entire month must be right up your alley.
i dont get that into most movies, what holds my attention most is the sets/surroundings. Not the stories, unless its some taboo/deep subject.

I'm stunned at people who can watch more than two movies in a row, let alone the same movies over and over again.

However, if my cousin vinny comes on, I laugh at it almost everytime I see it redface

What?! eek

I will do mini-film festivals of three of a kind from my collection.
(actor, genre, etc)
Spent one Sunday watching Star Wars, then watched the Lord of the Rings and Two Towers. The extended versions.
I only buy movies I will watch repeatedly. No other reason to own them. Casually I can see other movies on cable.
I'll watch them two or three times and then I'm done. I don't have to see it again. If I find it that compelling to repeatedly watch, I'll buy it.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

I don't watch movies on television with commercials. Any movie. To me it's pointless. When there were no options it had to be dealt with.
I only watch movies on HBO, SHOWTIME etc. or my DVD collection.
Of course I own both Purple Rain and the Matrix and seemingly will watch each one at least annually as long as I'm around to watch.

i was kidding
when i first got my dtv at this home it was like paying to watch proactive and bow-flex commercials. Its all that happened 2 min of show and 3 min of commercial for bow-flex or proactive.
now the stations seem to schedule the same thing in rotation for a month. so each day you turn on the tv your going to see some part of the same show. by the end of the month you have watched the entire movie three times in snippets. lol
