yesterday I got swooped and scatched up by a magpie at the park

and this morning, so far, a spotted dove and a myna bird have let themselves into the kitchen and flown around sending the dog crazy and scaring the kids

But doves are supposed to be peace loving birds. Myna birds not so much. My great-great grandmother had one and it scared the crap outta my poor gramma. She said she hated having the thing in the house. XD Yet years later, she can't do without a bird in her life....

I heard somewhere they don't like orange peels. if you have a garden by your doorway, place orange peels and they will be distracted.
