First night without the baby...

Tonight Charlie has gone to stay with his Grandma. I should be partying and making the most of it but it is hard to turn off and not worry.

Am now having a glass of wine and trying to relax. What was it like the first time you were without your baby?

Wow that was so long ago...since my youngest is going to be 16 this summer...but if I am remembering correctly...I went out, and tried to have fun, but my mind was on him.

Awwwww hug

No words of wisdom from me. I had a hard enough time leaving the dog at the kennel for 10 days recently.

lol hug Shouldn't you be off with Jon about now?

I was threatened by girlfriends. They said if I mentioned missing her one more time ( After perhaps the 80th) that they would pitch me out of the cabin and into the snow.

That was a long time ago for me! I don't remember. I think I over worried and probably didn't do anything but sleep.

Then the second one came and I couldn't ship him off fast enough.

I remember the first time one of my coworkers came back after maternity leave, and how she cried all day. I was just like, omg , being a parent is another universe of emotion.
