Why are you shrugging? lol

It's a cute building.

I don't know. It seemed shrug-worthy. The pic doesn't do it justice, I think. I really love my neighborhood and I love my street even. Somehow the picture doesn't capture it at all. I'll have to take my own some time.

I love seeing city dwellings. It lets me live vicariously through you guys. lol

I always wanted to live in the city for a little while anyway. I still want to, but don't know if I can.

it is the classic brick vanilla (brick veneer) building style so popular in 1960. This place used to be the outest burbs then, but now is is now just outside "inner city"
It is indeed like every other house in our street.
The tiles on the roof are cement, which grow moss, but they are durable. Next doors have terracotta tiles, which last forever pout you never have to restore them, just high pressure clean every 50 years lol
The inside was renovated and the back extended in the 80s, fantastic spaces, and still heaps of potential for further development.
I don't mind it being dull from the front, doesn't attract attention. We probably won't ever move from here you know!

We have lots of old warehouse buildings being turned into new modern lofts. They are so cool! But, they are expensive and not really family friendly. The ones that would possibly be big enough for us is so out of our price range. lol

They are incredible. nod

That is what my dream home looks like in my mind.

Ian and I feel so blessed to have a home to call our own, especially a home that we love so much.

We try everyday to never take it for granted.

I took this picture when we were having unseasonably cold weather here in Tampa.
But I like the house. It was decorated actually by a really nice Tampa girl and her extremely efiminant male companion.

It's a large picture so I'll link to it and show some consideration for folks with limited bandwidth, cause that's how I roll: http://www.danonderdonk.c...ohouse.jpg
