The women at my school rock... Just going stream of consciousness on this one: Starting back to school this semester has taught me a valuable lesson about women. In all of my classes, there is maybe one woman in class that is (maybe) like the girls I used to know when I was in high school. I was teased by both boys and girls in school, but also had more female friends than male friends.
Anyway, in just my normal observation of the male and female students (at least) at my school, it occurs to me that there has been a sort of role reversal. The female students seem to have better chi than the male students, while the male students seem to have not matured as fast (I know girls mature faster than boys.) In particular, there are a several students in my ASL class that I could just as easily picture playing sports and games like pool. They also seem to be more gregarious than the male students. Overall, this is a very attractive thing to me, for some reason (maybe a mirror image thing going on, can't say for sure.) This is not to discount the guys, who are also more accepting of people than I experienced when I was in high school, and most of them are pretty cool. (I'm aware that I might sound like one of them right now, and I wouldn't be offended if others thought of me this way.) Any thought/response to this, org?

I blame the new millennium, 8 years of Bush, and Barack Obama... oh and video games (for the stunted maturity and lack of chi in the male students...) A working class Hero is something to be ~ Lennon
