Man, My wife got me hooked on this show. Who here is a fan of this show?

I LOVE IT!!!!! I've been downloading it 'cause I have basic cable. I've missed 2 or 3 episodes so far because my computer is FUCKED!

I was really, really excited about this show before it started, then disappointed by the first couple of episodes, but still stuck with it. It's gotten much better, and I really like it--but still see some room for improvement. Now that it's hitting its stride, though, I'm looking forward to it getting better and better.

Appointment tv for me DEFINATELY.

I admit, I was very negative when I read the synopsis. But when I watched the first five episodes in one fell sweep last week, I became fan.

I am no fan of vampire stories much, after the first few Anne Rice books nothing came out to make me hot for more. A friend of mine tried to push Moonlight ( ) onto me, so I was a bit weary when this woman (Buffy fan and all) tried to talk me into this series.

But I am glad she did. All she had to say was 'It is an Alan Ball story' and I would have said 'Put it on!'

The fact I love this series is that it is not a vampire story. Sure, there are vampires, but it is set in a bigger scheme and filled up with great actors. Anna Paquin actually delivers with blonde hair and boobs that seem to be pushed unnaturally high.
Most of the episodes make me want more because I wonder 'Is Sookie really that dumb?' and sure she is.
Best to me is Sookie's sex-addicted brother that admits he is too dumb to plot murder. I love writing like that and the actors that know how to pull it off.

I wish the murder mystery aspect of the show were played up more. There are lots of people dying, but there's not much of an air of mystery about the show, which is really too bad. And Sookie's grandmother is barely even cold and Sookie and her brother have both gotten over it really quickly. Things like that lessen the quality of the show.

But yeah, the graveyard scene was hot. The bar owner is pretty sexy too.

I have read the first book the show is based on and am a bit peeved at some of the changes they have made as I feel the show would be better, HOWEVER, the show is damn good in it's own right and makes me LOL every week.

It sucks giant donkey balls, poorly I might add.

Some sweet titties in the last 2 episodes though. That's still no excuse.

I just started watching it as of two weeks. I'm hooked only because of Louisiana... and them fake azz'd southern accents LOL!!

The only thing I like are the sex scenes

It's awesome. I like the way they take a ridiculous premise and handle it realistically.

I'm totally addicted!!! I can't wait for Sunday nights!
