I always thought of myself as a cat person (plus Christmas card & outtake!) But having a dog is SOOOOO much nicer!
I never thought I'd say it I chose a small cat sized dog though, who likes nothing better than to snooze on top of me when I watch telly, or sit under my feet while I work He totally satisfies my cat owning urges, AND he doesn't shed any hair, and ALWAYS comes when I call, even if it isn't to come and eat and the kids love him too BEST DOG EVER! http://farm4.static.flick...64fb_o.jpg (bigger version) (card outtake for this year )

Schnoodles are the best! you know what, I think they must be I am in love with him, as he grows up he is showing his intelligence more and more, and as he is leaving puppyhood, incredible restraint - we aren't experienced dog owners, and I'm sure our training of him leaves a LOT to be desired, but he seems to take his own initiative about certain things, like NOT running out the front door if it is open, I give him exhuberant praise for staying inside now, to make sure he keeps doing it!!!

Beautiful pic of the boys even though there's a dog in it. If you like cats, you'd probably like my dog he is very cat like, soft and supple with long legs and he could jump up onto the dining table if he thought he would get away with it
