there was a kid called lettuce in the village i lived in but people convinced the mother to change it to something more suitable she did in the end whilst the kid was still young enough not to realise but her second choice of alphabet wasnt much better, its been shortern to ally nowdays though and the family moved a couple of months before i came out to Oz but its weird the whole fasination with calling kids silly names or spelling them with random quiet letters

i think the worse i have heard of was during one of my tours came from a maternity nurse who did baby checks was abcde (pronounced ab-sid-y) she admitted that the nurses have a book and write down the best ones they get
