why am i thinking of a scene of forced pineapple eating? You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

Isn't that called "citrus burn" or something like that. I get that when I eat pineapple only. That's why I'm not a huge fan of it. One devious guy gave some other poor bastard a drink with some flesh eaters and after he drank them he was eaten from the inside out! Watching it as an eight-year-old, I was horrified. x 1,000!!!!! I REMEMBER THIS MOVIE!!!!! yeah, I must've been around 8 or 9 years old myself when I saw it...and I distinctly remember that scene where the guy drinks the stuff (up until now I hadn't realized they were "enzymes"...I thought they were microscopic creatures/monsters or something)...and then the dead guy gets sent off on a raft with a tape recording of his screams to cover up the murder, right???? BTW Zombie;
I think that when you peel the pinapple...if you don't completely remove the "eyes" (that's what we call the little drown spots on the outer flesh) after you've peeled it...they tend to burn your mouth. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

OK time
Pinapple contains high concentrations of an enzyme called bromilane (so does Kiwi but much less), this is a non specific protease (breaks down protein). As cell membranes are made up largely of proteins the bromilane is basically destroying the cells of the "skin" on the inside of your mouth. So it is effectively a flesh eating fruit as described in the B movie poster. The sensation you get from toms and other fruit is more likely to be a mild immune reacion, more common in people who are asthmatic/hay fever types. NB Bromilane is the reason you can't make pinapple or kiwi jelly because it degrades the gelatin which normally causes the jelly to set!! out. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I think my babysitter thought it was funny. Oscar was sure he would have nightmares, he didn't There is also a gross scene in Ben10 the movie where a guy who is nearly wasted away to a skeleton is still alive they didn't like that much either. I don't know why a movie needs to have SUCH horror, the rest of the film was entertaining enough My babysitters let me watch Planet of the Apes much to my parents horror I'm curious to see what the rating is for that Ben10 movie. I never got into Planet Of The Apes. The few times I did watch it in the 70s, I found the ape masks too odd. It freaked me out a little. Now that I think about it, most live action shows with weird characters rubbed me the wrong way--like Land Of The Lost.
