I ate so much pineapple my tongue is sort of numb I had to finish it off, nobody else around here eats the stuff and it is past its use by date. I get a weird wrinkly feeling in the roof of my mouth from tomatoes and bananas, is that unusual?

I'm OK with avocados and nuts I wonder if bananas (not really VERY acidy are they?) and tomatoes have something in common, cause my reaction is identical from those 2. The pineapple burn is somewhat different I've still got the sensation an hour later, it really is like I ate pizza too hot!

I think the riper the banana the more likely it'll happen. Same with raw nuts vs roasted. The raw ones are what will do it. I can imagine the sensation when I eat raw nuts, esp walnuts, but I hate to think that I would be allergic to a banana or tomato! My Legacy

I'd hate to be allergic to avocadoes and nuts I still eat bananas and tomatoes, despite the sensation - I'm more prone to the wrinkly sensation the more UNripe the banana is!

I can still feel it today! it's probably enzymes that broke down my tongue

One devious guy gave some other poor bastard a drink with some flesh eaters and after he drank them he was eaten from the inside out! Watching it as an eight-year-old, I was horrified.

I really should have looked this movie up before letting them see it, but it was on during a normally SAFE time-slot when stuff like chicken little is on.

Flesh Eaters was on in the middle of the afternoon when I saw it in the 70s. I think my babysitter thought it was funny.

Oscar was sure he would have nightmares, he didn't There is also a gross scene in Ben10 the movie where a guy who is nearly wasted away to a skeleton is still alive they didn't like that much either. I don't know why a movie needs to have SUCH horror, the rest of the film was entertaining enough My babysitters let me watch Planet of the Apes much to my parents horror
