I watched this with my kids not long ago
That movie is sooooo stupid and funny at the same time.
We especially liked all the syrup he put all over his spaghetti

and how big he was compared to real elves

I swear I thought it was Chevy Chase on the movie poster when I first saw it. That was an instant turn off. As I have said before, I guess Ferrell is the new Chase. Funny at times, but irritating aswell.

Funniest scene in the entire flick - When he steps off the curb and gets run over by a car!

they know it's the movies, but it looked pretty realistic! I assured them he is an actor and they used a stuntman etc so nobody got hurt, but that if they tried it themselves they would most likely die

the funny thing with this is that there are a couple of things Ferrell does that are very childlike, the way he talks loudly in a monotone with hardly a breath between sentences, just like my kids

I think this is one of the few modern Christmas movies that will still be enjoyed many years from now...like Erin said, it's a good "little movie"...

The first time I saw the movie I was like *meh* especially as I had heard so many RAVE about it.

Then when I saw it a second time, I fell in love with it. So many parts that are just hilarious.
