I'm now stuck at the airport. my flight was delayed by 3 hours, meaning I missed my connection flight and took one that left 2 1/2 hours later, meaning I missed the last bus that goes to Toronto. So I'm sitting here at the very empty, deserted Buffalo airport, waiting for the 4:30am bus to arrive and take me to Toronto, where I'll have to take another street car to get home. basically I won't be home before 8am, which makes it the same as taking the bus all the way from VA to Toronto.

If you understood any of this, you get a star.

Well, it's cheaper. With the bus, it takes around 20 hours. The return ride will take me 15 hours. so it saved 5 hours off my trip, for about $100 more.

The bus finally arrived and I'm on it. it was more than 1/2 hour late, then a stupid girl couldn't remember how her bag looked and the bus driver had to take all the bags out until she realized it was the first bag he took out. and it's a 2 story bus
that took another 1/2 hour.

hopefully the rest of the trip won't be as bad. 3-4 more hours to go.

Occupational hazards of long distance relationships. Chris had some awful travel luck coming back from seeing me. My trips usually went pretty smoothly, other than that shitty Delta flight where I was stuck in the middle seat in the very back row, next to the bathroom and between two overweight men who kept trying to talk to me while I kept trying not to cry because I hated leaving Chris so fucking much.

This thread, with Ariel & FunkMiss' stories, has shaken my inner romantic awake...
