I am I am a complete Christmas maniac and Im not even religious But I Love it!!!
I am such a maiac I decorate my livingroom like its a store display, I put the usual ornaments away and put out the Chrismas ones..
We decorate the outside of the house like we are looking foreward to our electric bill shooting through the roof and blinding the neighbours...I love getting hopelessly tangled in the endless strings of lights that we wound up the year before hoping they would stay tangle free and cussing because they get wond around my arms like a boa constricter
I bake sugar and cinnamon cookies nearly every week from December 1st onwards...and Australia has Christmas in SUMMER
I love taking the kids to Christmas Carols even if its POURING WITH RAIN and even though I'm not religious (its the spirit of the thing dontcha know)
I constantly buy little Christmas knick knack and make sure I write cards for near every eprson who's name I can remember
Lately I have been joining in on the Org Secret Santa cause its just FUn
And I MAKE SURE I leave some of my Christmas shopping until LAST MINUTE just so I have an excuse to join the insanity of SHOPPING ON CHRISTMAS EVE!!!


And before u say "Yeah but Chilli thats cause u have kids" Let me tell ya...even wehn I was in my 20's, living away from home thousands of miles away from my family, single and no kids...I was the same....did the carols and the whole bit

No...the kids are asking to put the tree up ...and although I love having it up and the lights on at night .....all I can think about when sticking the damn thing up is that I will have to pull the bloody thing down again in Jan

I've been thinking about the tree today, might put it in my diary to put it up on 13th Dec

Not really.

I'm much more concerned with how much money the Santa Hat will be worth this Christmas on Runescape.

We're going to get the tree up after Thanksgiving.

I have the same concern as ZK ^^

I am only fan of the bog old tree. I got lots of tree ornaments, esp since I inherited my mom's antique ones as well; I still ad to the collection, but only antiques.

My tree is a fun-filled one, heaped with ornaments and coloured lights. Very thickly packed. I can't wait to get my tree!

It's lost its magic for me since I had to start participating in the annual present search around wrecked malls And with 8 cousins all under 16, it takes a while!

Then to just see them rip through everything, toss aside your present for the latest electronic gadget/bratz doll...well...let's just say I can't really remember the last time I truly enjoyed Christmas. Maybe if we took the "present" aspect out of it, it'd be nicer?

On a good note, my tree is awesome. It's small and it has little electric bulbs at the end of each...stalk...thingy... and they change colour when you turn it on. Looks amazing, doesn't need decorations, takes 2 seconds to set up
