OHMYHOLYHELL THEY'RE SHOOTING THE REMAKE OF FAME! ...And why my nearly 40 year old ass is excited about this I have NO idea But yes, they're going to redo the movie AND they're BRINGING BACK DEBBIE ALLEN
http://news.yahoo.com/s/n...nm/us-fame and all the teachers and administrators have been cast: Kelsey Grammer, BeBe Newirth (that's my GURL ) I hope they just don't f*** up with casting the students...aaah I remember the days of being a youngin' running around in leggings and leotards, quoting Debbie's famous line, "You want FAME? Well fame COSTS. And right here is where you start PAYING. IN S-WEAT " oooh the memories ...alls I know is that they'd better not mess this up, or I'ma be MAD "Fame! I'm gonna live fa-evah..."

I was JUST quoting Debbie's opening line on the tv show to my friend: "You want fame? Well fame costs. . . and here is where you start paying. . . in sweat!" Only thing missing was that big stick. That was my SHIT! I love that Debbie Allen. The Oscars haven't been the same without her.
Totally unrelated but as I type this an Always Infinity pad commercial is on TV and I SWEAR it's Regina King doing the narration. Just thought I'd share. . .

'Gade screams "WHY, WHY???" loudly as he stabs his eyes out....wondering if a remake of "Saturday Night Fever" starring the cast of High School Musical isn't far behind....
can we get some damned originality out of Hollywood, please? He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I hope so...I'd love to see her topless on the big screen. Irene Cara was a disappointment. From what I've read, Frasier & Lilith will be in this movie too.

Voiceover work for a national campaign is GOOD money, mama. That's the kind of gig that can pay for a year's college tuition depending on where her kids go to school
