Then to just see them rip through everything, toss aside your present for the latest electronic gadget/bratz doll...well...let's just say I can't really remember the last time I truly enjoyed Christmas. Maybe if we took the "present" aspect out of it, it'd be nicer? On a good note, my tree is awesome. It's small and it has little electric bulbs at the end of each...stalk...thingy... and they change colour when you turn it on. Looks amazing, doesn't need decorations, takes 2 seconds to set up  you got to do kriskringle instead, so you all buy just ONE thing once we started that last year, suddenly the kids were more interested in christmas because each of them had to buy for 1 person and they seem much more appreciate and in the spirit of things now  | |

I have some on my tree that my mum made when she was a kid! and I made some too that my kids will inherit every year we (as kids) had to make ornaments for our parents, and they would give us one. So now mom's tree is full of kid's ornaments, and ours from each year our parents gave us an ornament. we still get one for our son and each other, and now buy mom one | |
