They should make feet sensors for it so players can walk through games by marching or running in place.

Already do.

To answer the original question, it doesn't produce many good games or games with any depth. The average review scores for Wii games are 2 points lower on a 1-10 scale that their counterparts on other systems. The controls have been shoddy, but Nintendo is about to sell us another add on to fix that.

The Wii has just become a dumping ground for crap games. If you can avoid those, it still provides some fun in small doses.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

Most definitely!! I've had the privilege of working with a couple of female one-star generals...and one of my former commanders is up for her second star...Gen. Dunwoody may be the first 4-star, but there are lots coming up from behind....great day for the services!

Orging ain't the half of it... perusing old photos, admiring a wide variety of fine arts, expanding your musical spectrum, that's the HH I've come to know... I don't see you as the gamer type, but I could be wrong...shrug

Nono, I am trying to understand the lure. Up to a certain degree I like gaming, but I am addicted to repetitive, to some, boring games like Tetris2 on the Gameboy. But I see how it consumes my young nephews and how important it is to their 'status' in their pre-teen/teen circle of friends.

And how some of my adult friends geek out on game nights and stuff. I tried Mario Land and the first two Pokemon on my gameboy and my attention span is just too short, as is my patience.

Ooh, and I liked Tombraider, back in the day, on the computer. That is maybe one of the only games that made me addicted, come to think of it.

I hear ya there HH, it is sort of fascinating to see how some people are seriously attracted to gaming. I think a lot of it revolves around gaming giving you the ability to do the extraordinary or just break you out of your shell.

For example, I prefer simulators, real-time strategy and first person shooters. It's my thing so to speak but I can say that I've flown a virtual 747, Apache Attack Helicopter and X-wing fighter. I've stormed the beaches at Normandy and I've saved the world from alien attack on hundreds of occasions. These are things that I will never, ever do in RL and I think that's what is SO appealing to gamers.

I also play a sailing game which to the casual observer is about as exciting as watching moss grow and my wife and friends ask me "What's the appeal?". Basically it helps me practice my sailing tactics. I can virtually race 10 or 12 times in an hour whereas in RL I might get 1 or 2 real starts in a weekend.

Tomb Raider is a classic for it's time and I imagine you appreciated it for it's puzzle solving more than anything. Those were really great games!

Don't forget to go back and shell out another $60 for the second part of the controllers!

Actually, it's been 2 years since I got mine. Maybe one comes with it.
