I have loved the live version of 'Whiskey River' by Willie Nelson ever since I was a little child. I would beg my mother to play it for me on her record player. Ever since then it has sounded so right!

Ok, I'll start with Abba. My favourite song by Abba from any album has to be "Dancing Queen". I remember one sunny day in Ashford as a little boy I was playing in the car park outside the school. I was waiting for my brother. He was such a tall boy for his age, and towered over the other kids. I, on the other had, was not so much tall as rotund like a ball. Anyway, that's by the by. I'd better get on if I'm to address my A-Z. So there I was playing in the car park with a small green ball if I remember correctly. My brother came outside and poached the ball from the end of my foot and proceeded to weave figure of eights around my despairing body. My father, a colossus of a man at 6 ft 6, suggested to my brother "give Nick a kick" to which my brother obligingly ceased his attentions for the ball, bounded over, and kicked me in the shin. I forget now what this has to do with "Dancing Queen". I think I'm going to struggle at this rate to get to my favourite ZZ Top song, which incidentally is "Legs"...
