So sorry for your son!! 
My Mom was once mugged inside of the Basilica, in Mexico City! She was standing there in prayer, and she feels a tug, a man was holding a knife to her neck, and he yanked her purse out of her hands, left her still holding the strap. My poor Mom was a nervous wreck for ages.  | |
