before i start, i just want to make it clear, i am not after sympathy, i just need to get a few things of my chest.


after numerous years without anti depressants, (including the time my dad had terminal cancer) i just made an appt to see my GP about going back on them.

The last few months have been hard. we had been looking 4 a new place to live, but kept getting knocked back (issues i dont want to go into now-but will at a later date- rant thread to come).



we have finally moved but have extra rent and moving expenses keep piling up. AND we are still having issues with the last place we vacated. every time i get correspondence regarding it, i start shaking. i am seeing the tenants union next week.

we had to relinquish our cat because new place doesnt allow pets, and our son was allergic to her.

i am owed money for childcare benefits from the 07/08 financial yr, but every time i ring up about it, its some excuse. for ages it was usage statements, now, after 3 mths of ringing- they have plucked the date i changed our details out of the air- and are investigating.

i stress all the time about bills, im moody with my hubby and my son. and im not eating or sleeping- and feel sick all the time.

and to top it all off, my computer is still , so my usual stress release, the org, isnt always available to me.

time 4 the meds right?!?

No worries Mate! U'll B right! Last thing U should do is pay out on Hubby! He in it with U. If U think U need the Drugs to even U out. By all means do it. But if U can get through without, U'll B better off. Not that I'm a Scientologist or anything. Talk things through with your Hubby & see if U can come up with a solution together. If He's no help U can talk to us!

its getting nearer the silly season, which is always a stressful enough time anyway. i dont want to have a melt down near xmas

I think you need to see the GP and discuss how you are feeling. I know that all they do is prescribe meds and send you on your way which is frustrating.
Please don't put added stress on yourself like Christmas, they come every year, give yourself a break this year and keep it simple.
Sad that some of us worry like crazy about everything and others can let it roll off their backs like nothing.
I am sorry that you are feeling anxious right now. I wish there was more I could do besides sympathise.

I would say try not to go on medication unless u think u really need to hun.....If things are so bad ur not coping then definately go get all the help u need....

What ever you decided to do, I hope things went well
at your doctor's appointment....hopefully he/she is
an understanding person, cuz sometimes that helps
more than medication does.
