I still have empty picture frames hanging in my hallway. They've been up since January.

I should make that my weekend project this weekend.

what shape is the frame? I have another version of the photo which might be better

I cleaned up the distracting background a bit.

My favorite painting is Caravaggio's "The Inspiration of St. Matthew"

Classic.

Always!
I love how much controversy she's capable of without even saying a word.

Not a favorite, but I find Jill Greenberg's photographs both highly disturbing, yet intriguing at the same time...It's like I want to look away, but I can't help but stare lol

Sorry hun, I am so bad with names.

Her art is very good for her age. Does she have aspirations in that direction at all or is it just doodling to her?

There are no bad Caravaggios mushy. But Paul often gets on my nerves. I always imagine that horse kicking him right the balls! lol I think one of Caravaggio's best uses of light, expression, movement and the fitting of space is in his Taking of Christ:

Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
μηδὲν ὅλως σὺ λυποῦ
πρὸς ὀλίγον ἐστὶ τὸ ζῆν
τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”
