an excerpt from an article from tv.com Nip/Tuck will premiere the conclusion of its fifth season on January 6 at 10 p.m. (the last episode of season five aired last February). Season five has eight remaining episodes.

WTF? So it'll be a continuation of last season??  How odd... I guess that's b/c of the strike??
