Who shit in your cheerios this morning? Sheesh.

lol.....actually no one. Am I not correct?

It just came off kind of harsh. I grew up in a family where everyone smoked. I picked up the habit at 12 and it's very addicting. I was young and really didn't think much of it because everyone I was close to smoked. Now I'm hooked.

Sometimes people pick up bad habits because they can't say no or something happens to them that pushes them to the limit. Just like drug addicts, alcoholics etc...we have no idea what happened to make them go this route, but when they quit I think they deserve recognition.

It was NOT intended 2 be harsh.....just my honest opinion. I think we should spend more time steering kids away from this type of thing from jump.

Interesting.....congrats on something that u should have NEVER started in the 1st place.

Keeping it simple - one in five Americans still smoke.
It kills about 440,000 people in the US every year.
If you haven't already, odds are that you will know someone that has died from a tobacco-related illness.

Good to see you can be so flippant about something so serious.
confused
As someone who's off them since July, I know how hard it is to quit - I don't expect a congratulatory parade but that type of sniping could be done without.

nod agreed.

And well done you for quitting and Carrie too! clapping thumbs up!

I've never smoked myself (only between the sheets ifyahknowwhatImean! giggle) but I saw my mum go through hell to give up only to start again a few months later when her dad died. She's carried on smoking ever since and it kills me every time I see her light up or smell that stinky tobacco smell on her. I'm really close to my mum and I live in fear that she's going to get cancer because of it. She's vowed to give up in the new year, but then she also promised to give up before my baby was born (and she's 4 months old now) I just gotta pray that she goes through with it and finally gives up.
I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

C'mon and dance while you, while you still have your cherry babe, cherry babe..
