I'm here in Virginia and it's snowing. I know for you guys up north that's no big deal, but I think it's pretty early to get snow here. The schools freak out and close at the first flake they see. And, the drivers get all weird and drive like they're in a blizzard.

Winter is here! I'm sort of glad. I haven't seen decent snow in years. Who likes the snow?

Snow is very pretty when it's like this:




It covers up all the dead, brown everything in the winter.



Other than that, it's not good for much.

I love snow. It snowed here in October which most said was early.It fell over night and stopped by the time we woke. I grabbed the dog first thing in the morning and walked him to the aerodrome to play. We both ran around playing in the snow. It was spectacular, the sun was out and the air felt dry and crisp.

Yeah. I would probably not like it if I lived there and it was tons of it. I love to sit by the fire with a nice cup of hot chocolate and watch the snow fall. It's so peaceful. I find it relaxing.

I can't wait for it to snow enough so I can get the boys out in it and we can build a snowman. This will be the first time our dog has been in snow, so it will be funny to see how she reacts to it.

I have a mini shnauzer and she is so prissy. She doesn't like to get her feet wet. I wonder if she'll play. The coolest thing about her is that she'll fetch a ball forever. My arm will tire out before she does. Each time she runs after it it seems just as fun to her as the first 200 times she did it.

I do love the hush that falls over everything when it's snowing. It's sooooo utterly peaceful. It dampens the sound from positively everything and there's this quiet calm that I've never experienced any other way.

Yes you should be able to get in Petsmart. I ordered ours online. It is nice because you do not have to touch the wet slimy ball. Get one! Your arm will thank you and so will the dog.
