Deas said a confused Williams resisted their pleas, said he "doesn't trust anyone anymore" and that "everyone has turned against him," and began speaking "in gibberish."

you know, me sticking my head up a cow's ass doesn't qualify me as a butcher...likewise, just because some dude in yellow assless chaps and 7 inch heels acts like a messiah doesn't make it so...

exactly, but he certainly led people to believe he was one, which is why so many of the gullibles have gone mad with their undying love and devotion to him.

yes?

Oh, I take it you've been visiting the Prince Music & More section recently?

it's that severe? that he's seeing a doctor?

uh yeah seems like it is. I think this is what Dave Chappelle was afraid of happening to him once he started shooting up the ladder in his career, probably why he stopped his show and everything...he could see it coming. I guess all people aren't equipped to handle the stress of fame. I really think Katt has had some kind of mental breakdown because of all the pressure. He always seemed like a humble guy, but fame can make you erratic..if you let it.

He's also a single dad with 7 or 8 kids. I mean, he's wealthy beyond belief now, but it can't be easy trying to balance "the Hollywood Hustle", all of the crap and junk that comes with that, THEN turn around and be a balanced dad making sure the kids are helthy an well-adjusted. Seems like it would be like walking a tightrope...and genius comics have a tendency to be kinda manic depressive, so while it's sad to hear he's not doing well, I'm not surprised that it happened somehow. I am glad he's seeing a doctor though so hopefully he can get to his root issues, then get back to his babies, and back to work when it's appropriate.

Yeah I definitely agree with you. I had forgotten all about his 8 kids...I know that has tp be very difficult and he most likely has to pay staff to watch after them while he's on the road. I'm glad his family stepped in and convinced him to see a doctor before something terrible happened. I hope he doesn't lose his kids over this.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I wanted to discuss this somewhere, but I do not want to post it in a separate thread because I thought it was horrible!

I was flipping through the channels last night and came across this show where this family did an intervention. This girl was not famous, but she was addicted to.. computer dust cleaner?? I have never heard of such a thing.

She would buy cans and cans of it, then inhale it all day long! sad
She had been a victim of molestation, plus her dad left the family. She was just a mess because she also cut herself and then was anorexic! Now her younger sister also was molested, but somehow managed to not get like this. But it was the older sister--apparently very sensitive and intelligent who got involved with this through a boyfriend.

Anyway, her family did do a successful intervention.. but what I was surprised about was that they had her arrested for harm against herselve, but the hospital only kept her for 7 hours! Then the family had to force her--by taking away all other options to intervention.

I did not understand why more could not be done? I mean she way buying multiple cans of this stuff.. and she was using them all day. Is this not illegal? She was in her mid to late twenties, but still.. It was just horrible.

The bigger problem is how the public looks at situations like this.

People need to stop thinking that celebrities with mental illness are "hilarious".

There is a whole business out there making money on the misfortunes of others. To me that's the bigger sickness.

i agree.

also, the things that come out of the mouths of mentally unwell celebs

do have an effect on alot of people.

we dont go into mental institutions and offer its patience a microphone to the world..

why do we do it with celebs?

All are adopted except his oldest son. Even his birth son he's been the caretaker for since he was an infant (because the mom apparently had some issues). But this is a guy, as manic and entertaining as he is professionally, has a big enough heart to have opened his home and raised 7 additional orphans on his own. That is Sooo BIG to me. I too hope he gets well. rose

Should fans that go to concerts of celebrities be commited, no because Keith Richards is still around and has plenty of fans. confused

Keith Richard doesn't proclaim himself to be anything other than what he is....unlike some celebs/artists.... whistling
He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.
