We can debate the appropriateness of this couple bringing such media attention upon themselves, but it doesn't change the fact that this has the potential for being an opportunity to educate people on the subject of gender roles and sexual and gender identity. They're related concepts, but not the same thing. Since transsexual people have in fact shown to have the brain structure of the sex they feel they should be rather than their biological sex, there's no reason to believe what's between their legs should override that.
