The "feminine hygiene" industry over here makes it's money off making women believe they're dirty or gross. Even the euphemistic name plays into that fear. yes totally. On a slightly related note, did you know Safeway put Tim Tams in the tampon aisles and there was a petition to remove them because women really felt THAT was taking advantage!  (I thought it was a good idea, saved me a walk  ) | |

Seems like a good idea to me, but I can see why some women might take offense.
my workmates and I always used to whinge to each other that it was too far to walk and they should just merge the confectionary aisle and sanitary products aisles, and we were like  when they did it! | |
