Spook and Number23..... I just failed my driving test for the 3rd time
All because of nerves too, after a year of lessons I am brilliant when not in the test but the adrenalin ruins everything. And the instructor was tight!!! Rock n roll baby

You'll get no sympathy from me. I was just getting started after I failed third time. You no doubt have a long road ahead of you, lots of money waiting to be spent, hundreds of buses to catch to work in the rain - not to mention the deep shame you have caused your family and friends. They'll comfort you to your face, aye, but behind your back they sneer in disgust at your continual failure. Good luck next time though.

Thanks guys I swear I am an excellent driver but the test is so tight now - today I failed because I hesitated about pulling out around a bus, and pulling out into the road when there was a car coming, and I had loads of room and only made him slow down ever so slightly Rock n roll baby

Buses do not have any specific priority in law - they are obliged to indicate and wait for a gap in traffic, just the same as everyone else. The Highway Code requests that you give them priority as a matter of courtesy, and a bus pulling out into your path would certainly be a hazard. If you're unable to anticipate another road user doing this, it's quite right that you'd fail your test. This blows my mind. driving is a right of passage into adulthood for us on this side of the pond.
And folks wonder why we fought the Revolutionary war.

And can some of you weirdos jump in M&M and assist some of my threads there? Thanks.

And folks wonder why we fought the Revolutionary war. I know, its just so much harder here, not necessarily the driving, but there is the manual thing, but its the test. Its harder than say the US and also harder than it used to be here. Afterwards my instructor and I agreed that it was pretty ridiculous how hard it was to pass, and that it wasnt like I had come even close to causing an accident, 10 years ago I would have passed for sure. At the moment in the UK the first time pass rate is something like 40%, and the average amount of lessons prior to passing is about 65 hours with an instructor and 20 hours private/family practice Rock n roll baby
