The ending to Sweet Charity. A little too bittersweet for this lady. I mean, wow...just....what happens to her? D= She has the potential to live happily ever after? Yech! Give me closure! I loves me some Shirley, dadgum it! I say that after the whole mess with that guy with his hang ups, saying goodbye to her friends at the dime a dance bar, she FINALLY gets her happy ending as fate finally gives her what she deserves--a big break. They can keep all the "good morning" bit, but, add on to it! I wanted to see something random like maybe the guy's name she has on her arm comes out of nowhere. Like, maybe he was assumed to be dead but he sees her in the park. They kiss, catch up, and she comes to find that he's made a pretty good name for himself. And that he never stopped loving her and missing her. She feels the same way and bang, boom...definite happy ending without me worry she's gonna be some poor lady in the park... | |
