I also always wore a thicker heel for YEARS. I just bought my first stilettos prolly 5-6 years ago. After I realized that the right shoe can be stable even if it's a barely there strappy sandal, there's been no turning back. Now, almost all of my shoes are stilettos and I'm used to 'em now.

Yeah, a stiletto boot does provide more stability and support. I'd say I wear 'em maybe once a week or every other week. I don't know why but I took to stilettos like a duck to water. I was actually kinda intimidated by them at first tho.

The yellow ones didn't work out. Well, I bought them and they looked great. But then the practical side of me came to terms with the fact that the first time I stepped in a puddle or somebody spilled a drink on my feet, because of the light color, they'd be done. And that would be $1000 down the freakin' drain. If they were a darker color, I woulda kept 'em. They do come in a deep purple color but those haven't gone on sale.
