So. Living in Burnaby's been okay overall, but for three things: My building's kind of a dive, the rental manager is full of shit in a way I've only seen in a rare few people, and it's fucking hour long commute to school.

Fuck that shit.

As of last night I started looking for a new renter right in the city. I went to check out a super-nice two bedroom basement suite a 10 minute walk from college. I'll know by Sunday if I get it or not.

So I'm moving for sure. I got that nice little two bedroom basement suite that's just a short walk to school. After I drop off the damage deposit tomorrow, sign the ol' rental agreement, and negotiate when to pay up with the rent, the place is mine December 1st.

I'm so excited! This new place is so much nicer than this craphole I'm living in now, and once I find a roommate to split costs with, will cost me $250 a month less! I'm giddy!

Good luck. That's a horrible commute. I'd want to move for that reason alone.

As much as the work of moving sucks, I love moving for the fresh start it always seems to bring. New neighborhood, new vibe, etc.

This new neighburhood is really nice. Right close to school, and right beside Little India, t'boot. I really hope I get this suite, but if not I won't give up. Not having to get up at 6 am for morning class is quite the motivator.
