I was a bit too embarrased to post it though. Pagey, you did it for me! lol! I was teaching myself to play drums when that album was out. That's some tricky drumming for an 8 year old! I have always dug the combination of rock with a horn section & so a few years before before prince picked up horns, this album turned me on to the rock/horn combo. ya got guts Pagey! oh... right now I am listening to the SOTT movie... on CD!! Phew!!!...at least somebody likes Paradise Theater too! I thought I was the only one. This was one of the 1st albums I bought and I played it to death back in the early 80's. Rockin the Paradise? Too Much Time on My Hands? Best of Times? Snowblind? This thing is just oozing cheese...but for some reason I dig the hell out of it. My girlfriend literally gets furious at me when I play it. I remember buying this and The Wall at the same time I think I was around 11 or 12 and at the time I liked this better...but by the time I got to high school (and high AT school) my appreciation for The Wall grew. rock on Chewy! ...and I am listening to The Band AGAIN...Music from Big Pink this time. But I think I am going to play Paradise Theater again after this... :Headbang: [This message was edited Thu Dec 5 10:11:29 PST 2002 by Pagey] | |

Once in a while I will joke with her: "want me to put on the Styx album?" Well, I think I might give it a spin now before she gets home from work. lol Thanks for the Styx story Pagey. I'm still laughing at us "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"
