I would be more than happy to let him get the stretch marks, morning sickness and go through the pain and agony of childbirth. nod

Well I have had stretch marks (not on my belly, thankfully) since I was about 17 years old, when I got "meat on my bones".

As far as morning sickness goes, I hope I can skip that but odds are against me. We shall see what happens.

All the guys I've ever known have turned into big sniffly babies at a little cough and achey-ness. I've never yet been pregnant and hopefully won't be anytime soon, but knowing what I do about the whole process, I wouldn't wish it on anyone, male or female.

Agree with you on all counts. I wouldn't want to be pregnant either. I would be a hot, hormonal mess, bitching at everybody. lol lol

If pregnancy symptoms are at all consistent within families, then based off how family members have been when they're knocked up, I wouldn't be too emotional or hormonal, but I will EAT like it's going out of style. All the women in my family just pack in the food when they're preggers like they think someone's going to take it away. lol

I have nothing but respect for women that endure all of that, and a period every month. My sister's period is really heavy...As for giving birth, my mom said it gets really painful but that when you hold the child in your arms, that blessing is so rewarding you forget (most of) the pain. smile

I had the same thing when i was preggers ( gestational diabeties) it has nothing to do with eating so much it has to do with the SUGAR in the food. Certain food turn to sugars in the body like carrots, potatoes, pasta, starchy foods and fruits can as well like oranges, apples, bananas. Depends on WHAT you eat and how much, diet in general. And it depends on the sweets being eaten as well.

Some women can eat without gaining weight during or before/after pregnancy, some do. Depends on the family gene.

You being hot depends on WHEN you got pregnant as well. You body temp will rise regardless since ur body IS in fact a incubator for 9 months. If you get preggers during the last part of winter and the 7-9 months of pregnancy is in the summer months YES you will get HOT! But if you get preggers in the summer in the early part of pregnancy it will keep you warm in the winter months. varies on the woman since al women can be different during pregnancies.

As far as I know, that's never happened in my family. But our womenfolk do seem prone to strange and/or stupid cravings.

My mom, when pregnant with me, had constant cravings for Coke Slurpees. She was pregnant in winter. In Alberta. And my dad, like a chump, (a very loving chump!) would schlep the 6 blocks to the nearest 7-11 carrying a camping cooler to load up on Slurpees with for her. mushy
