Rural road rage

So this morning I fired up my Jaguar to take my step son who's visiting for the weekend for a ride. We just went about a mile down the road and turned around.

On the way back a truck in front of me suddenly stopped (he might have had no brake lights). I locked up my brakes and slid for a ways. Incident over we went home. five minutes later the truck came pulling into my driveway, goons hopping out and threatening to smash my car etc. They would not leave my property and my wife called the cops.

Police came, took statements etc. and it turns out they are friends with my neighbors

I am getting so tired of living around backwoods hicks, now I am worried about my 12 yeart old being home alone after school

(they also called my car a maseratti mad )

It is posted at 45, I was probably going much faster, but was not tailgating.....it should have nothing to do with them showing up at my house

well you do have to remember no matter how large or small the population someone is always watching and becoming familiar with you and your behavior when you frequent the places in your area.
That could happen anywhere, its not just the 'backwood hicks'.

what's this have to do with "backwoods hicks"? dumbasses live all over.

and it really isn't a good idea to be driving fast in the country this time of year. a lot of visibility and farm traffic issues.

i live in a small town of 3,000 people. and it's in the mountains in northern california. and i have to tell you, it is the most racist place i've ever lived in my life! and i've lived in georgia in the past for 5 years. my husband gets treated badly many times simply because he's brazilian! it pisses me off!!! i thought california was supposed to be forward thinking and liberal, well, not in my area, most everyone here is rude, and the only thing that keeps us in this area is the natural beauty, and the fact that we stay to ourselves. and if we want to shop, etc...we go down into the nearest large city 50 miles away.

I said this in another thread... I do not mess with road rage folks, they have taken that to new levels now (getting out of their cars with bats n weapons) .. if they want to cut me off.. I let them know 'It's your world, go right ahead' .. it is not worth it..

exactly nod
I've had a driver pull up alongside me and spit on my car and swear (I don't even know why, since my car was stationary at traffic lights) and THEN realise that lane was blocked. The driver then depended on me to let him merge back into my lane, which I totally did with an exaggerated wave. He wound his window down and yelled "thanks very much!!!!" Had I not, I was afraid of what he would do next eek

that's sad .. I don't know what folks are drinking these days that they want to get out of their cars and fight... and another thing I don't get about them.. they're in such a rush to fly and want to cut you off... only to stop at the red light eek .. confuse I don't even try to figure it out..

I always stick to the speed limit, and I'm catching up to the lane changers and speeders at every red light anyway, so yeah wacky
