That man has not aged. He's a little rough around the edges but MY GOD. He looks 14 years old. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits" | |

He's 47 now...
He was 23 when he played 16 year-old high schooler Daniel-san... He was 31 when he played college student Billy in My Cousin Vinny I don't know... ya gotta admire the youthful genes he inherited. I think he looks great. I saw him perform on stage in "How To Succeed In Business", I think he was in his late 30's playing a young upstart just starting a career. A role designed for someone in their early twenties. |

Cute... that's Will Smith's boy, right? Are they remaking Karate Kid? Isn't he a little too young for that role? I'm so out of the loop. |

You're right... got this from Google: Will Smith's Son Jaden To Star In New "Karate Kid" Movie November 11, 2008 6:51 p.m. EST Jan Westmark - Celebrity News Service Reporter Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Don't be surprised if you see Will Smith's son Jaden practicing a little "wax on, wax off" during his martial arts lessons. The younger Smith is set to star in a new version of "The Karate Kid," a movie which brought fame to Ralph Macchio and made the saying "wax on, wax off" commonplace. The new film will be produced by Jerry Weintraub, who launched the original franchise, and Overbrook Entertainment's James Lassiter, Will Smith and Ken Stovitz. Will is, of course, the father of 10-year-old Jaden and the two starred together in "The Pursuit of Happyness." The script for the new movie is being written by Chris Murphy, and word is it will shoot next year in Beijing and other cities. The new film will follow the original plotline, where a bullied youth learns to stand up for himself with the help of an eccentric mentor. Jaden already takes martial arts classes, so the role should be a perfect fit. The young Smith is staying busy -- his next film is "The Day the Earth Stood Still." The three "Karate Kid" films shot Macchio into teen superstar status in the '80s. He starred alongside Pat Morita in the films. A subsequent film, which also stared Morita, launched the career of Hilary Swank. I wonder who the "mentor" will be. |
