Kurt Krömer, for example.
THE funniest German is Loriot though, no contest. But he's not what you'd call "comedian". This is one of his "simpler" scetches: This is one of my favorites:

ProSieben used to be on my digital box and I occasionally saw Stefan Raab's show, Tv Total. I didn't understand all of it (I do understand some German, especially if it's written) but I liked especially the interviews he did in English with celebs that came to his show. Stefan Raab is a German comedian, TV-host and an occasional musician (he even competed in the Eurovision song contest once).
Here's an interview he did with AC/DC's Angus Young: And here's his interview with Will Smith:

Here's two. One of the lads is called Sugar Sammy. He's a Desi boy Not French per se but he performs fluently in the language as he hails from Montreal. [Edited 9/20/08 12:23pm] "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

Really? For me it's exactly the other way round. Some German comedy is really great, some of course is totally not funny at all that goes without saying, but I never have talked to any German in my life who had a really good sense of humour or was funny and I have talked to many, many Germans in my life. But yes, I have some real funny German friends..... Now, Austrians.....

I never understood how anybody considered this guy funny. But this clip showing him is soooo funny ! Too bad that the quality is not that good so you cannot see how pissed he looks . I know quite some Austrians, young lady.....been coming to your country all my live. As a matter of fact, if you'd add up the time spent in Austria you'd easily come to 5 complete years or so..... And i was joking, I hold nothing against Austrians, I only dislike the money-greedy ones on the mountain!
I refuse to watch anything by Rudi Carell, he was a disgrace to the Dutch!

I refuse to watch anything by Rudi Carell, he was a disgrace to the Dutch! It's not a clip by him, but he is the one who is being ridiculed in that clip. Go and watch it now! I remember when I was learning French in high school that our teacher showed us this clip of the comedic trio Les Inconnus, performing their new-wave/synth pop parody song "Isabelle a les yeux bleus".... this was a cult favorite in my French class.

Holly Shit I had no idea someone would hear about Les Inconnus out of France!! , U've been lucky to have such a cool french teacher Still a cult favorite nowadays, their parodies continu to make people laugh, even the new generation. Today Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Legitimus are notorious actors, they sometimes continu to play together but each one of'em got his own career so to speak. Here another parody Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity
