The retailer FU list

Please add to this list of retailers that can suck it for running christmas commercials pre-halloween and pre-thanksgiving:

Wal Mart <--they can fuck off everyday, but now they're even worse.

Every diamond shop

Starbucks ~ I saw someone walking around with a coffee cup from them with Christmas themes on it. Why???? It is only November.
Thankfully, I have not been to a Walmart or seen ads or commercials for them in over 14 months, it has been great!

Right now there is a Christmas ad on for Morrison's grocery store. Oh the timing... lol

My kids are already looking out for what they want for Christmas. My oldest one wants some $600 thing.

confused

And no...

No way in hell is he getting it. confused

I keep saying that I'm going to scale down. I think I may buy them one thing and then take them to give toys to orphans. I keep saying that I'm going to do that, but I think I really will this year.

I haven't seen the Target ads yet, but I did see the Lowes.

My grocery store (Hy-Vee) already has trees and decorations up.

working for one of the top 5 retailers in the country, I can tell you that Christmas merchandise is shipped starting in september, and it sits until Halloween. If it's not out on display the day after Halloween, the store manager is flogged. We're getting Valentine's merchandise already.
In addition, pressure is on because of the economic slump worldwide.

it's okay people, this will pass too. we've been through worse.
oh yes, and Obama is president elect. he's going to cure leprosy, cancer and make the blind see again.

I feel that if you don't like the idea of these stores showing Xmas commericals, then change the channel and move on. We all need to face the fact we live in a world where money matters.

I ignore it, and I just think of what Xmas truly means to me! I don't let such silly things get to me!!!

i think retail knows this is going to be a very bad season for folks money wise,so they are trying to do everything they can to get people to shop. the mall i go to is having a huge deal on the 13th, the first 3,000 people will get a scratch off ticket that will reveal a gift card amount of between $25-$1,000! i really can't blame retail stores for wanting to try and get as many customers as they can. we've already seen many stores go out already, circuit city is on it's way. which means more lost jobs.
