I think if one was tapped by the other without their knowledge, then my first instinct would be to support the victim if they were a friend. I feel sure that must be an awful revelation for them to have to deal with.

And yes, I would initially be angry that someone had recorded my calls to them without my knowledge but it would really depend on the circumstances. If one person was making the other insecure by their actions (you mentioned an affair and a porn addiction?) then I can almost see why it's happened. It doesn't justify or excuse it, but it could be a reason for it. And the other thing, Mach, that I'm sure about in knowing you is that you would have never said or done anything that is untrue to yourself - my view is that you live your life in a very true, loving and honourable way, so in that sense it doesn't matter that somebody else has heard your words - perhaps they also benefitted from hearing some of your wise and insightful words along the way.
