I've never been very good at relationships, I think the longest was about 3 or 4 years. Can't be sure cos' I tend to block everything out. Some people are like Slinkies...

LoL Don't we all? My last one was the worst, I was totally in love but after about a year I began to suspect he was cheating on me.. I finally found the nerve to confront him and found out that I was the bit on the side and he had been living with another guy for 5 years!! How could I have been so fucking stupid! That cunt broke my heart..  Some people are like Slinkies...

22 years and ditto re the bumps. Lots of bad times but I'm now glad I've stuck it through as we're entering a really nice phase together. In spite of my many mistakes, we're in that same really nice phase...kids are about to graduate high school within the next two years...our oldest was born 3 months before we go married, so when the birdies fly the coop, we'll actually be "dating" again.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.
