Putting Ashes in an urn My sister was cremated and I got her ashes today. I bought a Purple Urn for her (purple was her favorite color). The thing is I really don't want to transfer the Ashes myself (kinda hard on me). Would a funeral home or some one else do it???

I'm sorry
Perhaps they might - I don't see why not. I would call them to find out... [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

A funeral home would be a great place to start.
I'm firmly planted in denial

it can't hurt to ask... 'why y'all trying to say goodbye? I didn't go anywhere, I'm right here, im all around you,always..'
in a line from my dream, I heard a voice and saw a silhouette in a chair..

I don't mean to belittle the experience by being so clinical, but usually the remains are bagged and you just place the bag in the urn.
I'm sorry for your sister, I just wanted to offer that up. I fear that a funeral home would need to charge you to do anything like that. Did you purchase the urn from a funeral parlor? Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

I'm sure a funeral home would do it, or perhaps a close friend as thekidsgirl suggested? I agree - it would be way too hard for you to do it but I'm sure that any good friend of hers would be honoured if you asked them to help out.

Well I just came back from the funeral home. They did it for free. They were very nice (thanks Miles & Pete).
