Do You Work For A Nice Boss?

I ask this question because finding a nice person to work for just seems to get harder and harder all the time. The guy I work for can be moody and snippy. If there is such a thing as male PMS, this guy has it. He's a first-class idiot, sad to say. disbelief It makes me uneasy to ask him questions sometimes, because I get the feeling if I ask him the same question again, he gets pissed at me for asking. WTH, I would rather know what to do, then to take a guess and do it wrong. To me there is no such thing as a stupid question. JERK!!!!!
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I love my boss. I've had awesome luck, the last two bosses I've had have been really wonderful. The right amount of support, the right amount of leaving me alone and so on.

I've had crappy bosses before and I refuse to do it ever again. Life's too short to work for an asshole.

I've got one of those bosses who wants to be everyone's friend...she's real tight with about 3 of the employees..they always are behind closed doors talking about personal stuff with her...irrating as hell...GET SOME WORK DONE BITCHES!!!...lol...the boss has no management training...we spend overtime money on shit that those 3 "friends" are supposed to do in their job description. No one get's reprimanded. It's comical how inept this person is.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

omg disbelief Sounds like she shouldn't be a boss, but she probably knows somebody who gave her the job. I hate it when bosses play favorites, it is so unfair. I've seen it happen at verious jobs that I have worked at, and it drives me crazy! It's like if you're buddy buddy with the boss, you have different rules than people who are not kissing up to the boss, and who are just there to do a good job. ;disbelief:

my boss likes to hang out and drink and gossip in the parking lot after work.

she's pretty much easy going, but she can also be too harsh on a certain young girl at work. she doesn't bother me except for that.

hug Nancy...

My Supervisor is a rude, vindictive bitch. She's threatened by everyone who has an idea different from hers, and she's sneaky.
She also plays "forgetful"- she'll say or do one thing, then swear she never heard of it when a parent or someone complains. She'll look U in the face and lie.

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

my former boss became one of my best friends mushy
She (and the rest of my coworkers) were a major reason why I stayed there so long, even after I got a better paying job.

My current boss is great too! smile

I have an awesome boss. He lets me work from home when I need to, I have a parking space, we get to drink on the job and most days he buys us either breakfast or lunch. When I had minor surgery earlier this year, he paid me for sick days even though I didn't have any. Plus, I have a great salary. I am very, very fortunate.

my boss is awesome. i've worked for him for 13 years. he's one of my best friends, and something of a father figure to me. i can't imagine working for anyone else and apparently i won't, judging by my work history.

he's dragged my ass along up the corporate ladder the last few years, and i'm truly grateful.
