Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Ace (But Were Afraid to Ask)!

This may be the last time I make this offer, so get your ya-ya's out!

P.S. Actually, the question doesn't have to concern my life - ask anything! smile

I am excellent, thanks! I had a shrink appointment just yesterday and he agrees that I've never been happier!

Good to hear!

I'm OK. I've been cursed with a nasty virus for a week and a half now and it doesn't seem to want to go away. But I went on a shopping spree this evening and that always makes me feel better. I bought pants and skirts and sweaters and boots and shoes. yay!

What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

While Lenny is a nice Jewish boy and you are eminently cool, there are very few entertainers who could get me to a venue, these days. Very sweet of you to offer, though!

Is this an actual expression?

I've been saying it to be silly, but perhaps it ISN'T a misheard lyric and it really does go "gitcha gitcha yayas out" eek

Zen is an end in itself. Your only goal must be mushotoku, the goal of having no goals, of striving not to strive. "How is it possible to strive to not have goals?" you might ask. Isn’t that itself a goal?

Don’t be a smart aleck. You should be as goal-less and lacking in purpose as your cousin, the successful one.

Smaller goals:

  • Get my car ready for winter (snow tires, antifreeze, new wipers, wiper fluid, etc.)
  • Continue to invest for my retirement
  • Sell my guitars and other music equipment
  • Finish my revised will
  • Figure out why sometimes, when you put your cursor over the time in the bottom-right corner of your screen, it doesn't show you the date confuse

Never been afraid to ask but just consider me a long time listener, first time caller.

1) let's see a picture or is that reserved for photo whore threads?

2) seriously, do you exclusively like women who need a sandwich or are you over that?

3) what part of the east coast do you call home again? Ever want to move?

4) always admired your taste in music, what's the last 3 purchases?

5) if you could be only one kind of cheese, what cheese would that be? I've always put you with Gouda...

6) selling your music equipment because you're insane or just never going to play again? (which is still insane)

Thanks. redface

1) let's see a picture or is that reserved for photo whore threads?

Not into it. shrug

2) seriously, do you exclusively like women who need a sandwich or are you over that?

lol I like women with very low body-fat. shrug That said, in the words of Norm MacDonald, 'I don't even like to have dinner with anyone anymore - never mind all that filthy stuff afterwards'. lol

3) what part of the east coast do you call home again?

Hey, little Donna
Still wanna?
You said to ring you up when I was in Toron'o

Ever want to move?

On some winter days, the thought crosses my mind. But I love this city and don't foresee leaving.

4) always admired your taste in music, what's the last 3 purchases?

I listen to very little music, these days. Some things I've purchased via iTunes or added to my finetune.com playlist in the not-too-distant past that I'd recommend:

The Nothing Maker - Pretenders
The Usual Thing - Marshall Crenshaw
No Love Today - Chris Smither
Nobody Knows Me - Madonna (Just saw her in concert)
If - Joni Mitchell
Ridiculous - Norm MacDonald (comedy)
The Naked Ride Home; Don't You Want to Be There? - Jackson Browne
Strawman - Lou Reed
My Beautiful Reward - Bruce Springsteen
Don't Be Ashamed of Your Age - Bob Wills
Something Good This Way Comes - Jakob Dylan
Extraordinary Machine - Fiona Apple
One-trick Pony - Paul Simon
Ball & Chain - Social Distortion
That's How People Grow Up - Morrissey
Be Thankful for What You Got - William DeVaughan
Shiny, Happy Jihad - Joe Rogan (comedy)
Doin' My Time - Jim Gaffigan (comedy)
Neighborhood Bully - Bob Dylan

5) if you could be only one kind of cheese, what cheese would that be? I've always put you with Gouda...

I don't know anything about cheese. redface I'll order it on a hamburger and I like cottage, but that's about the extent of my cheese expertise.

6) selling your music equipment because you're insane or just never going to play again? (which is still insane)

Except for a couple minutes a year or so back, I haven't picked up an instrument in eons and I want to invest the money for my golden years. One of the guitars ('59 Les Paul Jr.) is worth thousands of dollars.
