OMG it's Wednesday! I just woke up and had, well, brunch, I suppose. In the meantime I am checking e-mails and what kind of stupid threads Dan started.
My cats are roaming the back-garden and I am bored. I have to wait the entire day for the Americans to wake up and cast their vote damnit! It will make a more exciting viewing than a 24 episode, I am sure. What are YOU doing today, besides voting? [Edited 11/5/08 11:39am]

OOh, and I am playing Erotic City by Prince and them Revolution. My hair (long, as I haven't been to the hairdressers since I got sick) is standing up all directions; I look like a loony professor, but without the brain.

I'm orging, listening to Otis Redding, checking for comments on my photos on redbubble, and drinking tequila.
Was drinking it neat with ice, then with grapefruit juice, but now with Coke. Really not sure about tequila, but it was a gift from my sister in law for helping her with her visa. I don't say no to free alcohol.

In other news, I just read on the Bangkok Post website about how the Thai PM had been down south last week and that he'd said things had calmed down there. This was right before I got an e-mail from Thaivisa.com telling me about 3 bombs going off there today.
This country is so messed up right now. It's enough to make you want to drink tequila, listen to Otis Redding and post on a Prince fansite.

I am cleaning (hubby is coming home tonight and I always make sure the house is clean with fresh bedding), doing laundry (obviously), just called the contact place to make sure my new contacts were coming soon before I scratch my eyes out, and getting ready to take the dog for a long walk to the aerodrome as usual.
Time to chase the ball and play with other dogs. Oh and I am also trying to keep my mind off of the election...it is making me too nervous, I have not been able to sleep the last two nights. (a combination of sleeping alone and the election).

Dear Dan, Declawer Of Cats.
My clawed cats are sitting on my 'new' couch. Sure, it's the old couch, but as they had clawed their way through the previous cover, I got me a new cover at Ikea! Woohoo! I also moved the couch in front of my streetside windows, so DeeDee & Dexter have re-claimed the couch as best 'looking out'-position. Also because they can now watch outa the window AND hover aboce the radiator, so they are cozy and warm at the same time. Weird enough they like the nighttime covers I throw over it when I am asleep or out way better than the couch itself. My cats wish you nine lives in hell for declawing your cat and say 'my sister did it' is a hella weak excuse and you will burn in hell anyways. Love, DeeDee & Dexter

I wanted to respond to the first message (saying; "You always have a drink") but this explains it. I hate fucked up fanatics that think bombs solve their shit.

Nick, I'm am seriously thinking about quitting my job early 2009 and taking a break from life as I know it, and then come to Khao Lak by the end of February to follow a divemaster traning program at the Similan Islands.....this would have me staying in Khao Lak for at least 2 months (maybe longer).....I'm sure we could find a way to meet either in the south or in BKK..... In other news, heard this morning that another few people died in BKK riots.....

It's not why I'm drinking though, I must confess. I'm actually cutting back on my drinking this month, but this was a gift given quite out of the blue so I'm polishing off the bottle quite quickly over just a few days and enjoying my last drunkenness before I start being disciplined.

Mon and I had planned a short trip to Koh Si Chang or Cha Am this month, but with our trip to the UK coming up decided against it in favour of a longer beach trip next year, so we could probably just come to Khao Lak to meet you. That'd be very cool. I hadn't heard about ppl dying in the riots. Just saw 1 death has been confirmed from the bombs down south, with over 70 injured.

Just put some washing in the machine and then I'm going to go out and buy some new jeans (I'm down to one pair at the moment cos' the others have worn out and I also split a pair yesterday!! fat cunt! ) Some people are like Slinkies...
They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

PICS! As you can see, age (plus the vast amounts of alcohol I consume) are taking their toll! Some people are like Slinkies...

I slept until noon, so now I'm having breakfast and
I'm listening to the radio to hear if there's any good new music out there. Heard some song going "girl, shake your ass for me". The weather is all grey and sad and I feel kinda lazy today. But I don't have time for being lazy, because Virgo is coming over for dinner tonight, so I have to go grocery shopping and then cook. But I'm sure once all that is over with, I'll have a nice evening with Virgo. FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

I'm nervous. I voted.
I *KNOW* Florida will pass Proposition 2 which defines mariage as between a man and a woman. But I'm hoping California will *NOT* pass proposition 8 which does the same thing. The nation tends to follow California. Nobody ever follows Florida.
